School Services

Our services offered at YCIS Qingdao are designed to make life simpler, safer, and healthier for our students. These services ensure that our students are given every opportunity to concentrate on their studies, and also give parents the peace of mind that their children are taken care of during the entire time they are at school.

Health and Safety

On-site healthcare is provided by a full-time nurse who is certified to conduct first aid and handle minor injuries or illnesses. In cases of emergency, parents are contacted immediately. We also provide 24-hour on-site security guards to ensure a safe school environment, and all visitors to the school are required to register at the gate. Parents can rest assured that their children are in safe hands all day, every day, at YCIS Qingdao.

Meals

Students are welcome to bring their own lunch, or to purchase the tasty, balanced, and healthy lunch provided by the school. On top of all YCIS concerns, one lies in the healthy growth and the balanced eating habits of our students. The canteen prepares daily meals of our students with food and ingredients ordered from well-recognised food suppliers with certifications. Along with freshness, the School Canteen ensures our students acquire sufficient nutrition. Likewise, the canteen adopts world-class brands in cleaning and sterilization as well with concern to not only the students’ health but also contributions, to an environmental-friendly world.

Transportation

For our students in need of transportation to-and-from school, we provide an extensive bus service throughout Qingdao for children ages three and up.

School Uniform

Our school uniform is a distinguishing feature of YCIS Qingdao. We believe that wearing a school uniform helps unite children, develops their self-confidence, and builds a sense of school pride. Therefore, all students in Years K2 and above are required to wear the approved school uniform every day, a nd the fee for one full uniform set is included in the school fees.
