Chinese Culture Week at Yew Chung International School of Qingdao took place during the second week of June. The activities allowed students to display their talents in different ways. These included language tasks such as reciting ancient poetry; or musical activities such as playing Chinese classical music. There were different learning activities to suit everyone’s interests: some preferred experiencing and taking part in Chinese folk customs, and others preferred discussing modern Chinese society. Students then separated into self-assigned small groups to develop and reinforce collaboration and communication skills. After that, they shared the amazing work that they had created throughout the week in the Chinese PK Show and Everlasting Classics activities. Let’s all celebrate the students’ creativity and enthusiasm for learning!
