On Tuesday, June 25th, the Year 9 students and some parents and teachers from Yew Chung International School of Qingdao went to the Jiaonan Deaf School to take the donations collected from our school community as part of the Seeds of Hope charity.

This meaningful activity was one of the many initiatives from the YCIS family to help this very destitute school. After greeting some very excited Jiaonan school students, the YCIS students, staff and parents unloaded all the boxes from the truck and toured the school.

During the tour, they learned about life there and about the school’s most pressing needs. This was a good opportunity for the students, staff, and parents to meet these wonderful people, and we would like to thank our school community for supporting this very worthy cause.
