The Year 7 Computing class is currently working on coding using the Scratch platform developed by the world-renowned University of MIT.

Students are developing a game based on a Heroes vs Villains theme.

Our advanced Computing students, already familiar with this platform, created their own game based on more advanced programming Scratch principles.

Students will be using this knowledge later in the year to research a game of their choice, copy it, then create their own game based on the game mechanics learnt.

The project encourages creative thinking, problem solving, and developing an analytical approach. It has been challenging but a lot of fun. Our Year 7 students’ energy is infectious.
