On November 6, 2019, YCIS Qingdao was honoured to host a football festival with 4 other international schools from Shandong province.

Viewed as a learning opportunity for the year 3 to 6 students, this festival was indeed a success.

The focus on the day was on improving how to play football as a team.

During the games, referees were encouraged to explain their decisions to the players.

From sportsmanship to friendship, every student happily got their “take-aways” from the field.
