On Friday December 13^th, teachers, families and friends from YCIS Qingdao were treated to a fantastic annual Christmas Concert in our school gym. We are so proud of our students who put on a spectacular show and it was a pleasure to see all their hard work paid off.

The Christmas concert was hosted by our Secondary students, Hye Nah and Lucas, who gave lively introductions to each performance during the 90-minute-long exciting programme.

This year’s concert included special appearances from the Primary Choir and Primary Orchestra, who showcased their learning through their amazing performances. Attendees were also dazzled by the varied musical shows including a group of Korean drummers, a violin solo, singing performances as well as a lively piece of music from the international community choir, featuring members of our teaching faculty.

As the concert wrapped up, and after enjoying some of the most famous Christmas carols, everyone was invited to join in the singing of “12 Days of Christmas” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”.

The day couldn’t have had a better ending. After the Christmas concert, everyone headed to the Ice Skating rink in Huangdao for our classic Christmas on Ice event, where everyone had a blast. It was an awesome day!!

We hope our students enjoy their well-deserved Christmas break and spend time with their families after a fantastic first semester. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and see you all in January 2020!
