Home-based learning has been taking place for more than three months; and now we are thrilled to announce that our YCIS Qingdao campus is about to reopen! On May 12, the school successfully passed the reopening inspections conducted by Qingdao Education Bureau and Huangdao District Education Bureau. This has also been a confirmation that YCIS Qingdao will first welcome back our Year 11 and Year 13 students very soon!
Under the guidance of the school’s Epidemic Prevention and Control Leadership Team, the YCIS Qingdao staff recently took part in many emergency drills regarding the upcoming school reopening. This was an action to make sure the return of our students is planned with details. Stimulating the activities and possible issues our students might encounter after entering the campus area, is to safeguard every community member a safe return back to the school. It is hoped that by enacting and enforcing our practices, the health and safety of our students, teachers, and our community members will be safeguarded.
As a well-established international school, YCIS Qingdao aims to offer the best-quality learning opportunities as possible, by continuing to offer an education that caters to different student needs. During the past e-learning months, YCIS staff have worked extremely hard, getting themselves prepared with advanced technologies at short notice, using different digital platforms and resources to support students home-based learning. With the campus reopening date coming soon, our teachers will continue to provide high-quality education, supporting our students and families both in Qingdao and abroad by a wide range of learning tools, both online and on-campus.
At YCIS Qingdao, the health, safety, and well-being of all our community members are always at the forefront of everything the school does. Consistent and stringent health and safety protocols are maintained across all our school campuses, to ensure everyone can learn, work, and develop in the best possible safest environment. In response to the COVID-19 epidemic, the school has been taking stringent actions and further building up detailed measures, to ensure that we are in line with all government requirements, ready for the school reopening.
We look forward to every smiling face on our campus soon!
