School Services

On-site healthcare is provided by a certified full-time nurse to conduct first aid and handle minor injuries or illnesses. In case of emergency, parents are contacted immediately. We also provide 24-hour on-site security guards to ensure a safe school environment, and all school visitors must register at the gate. Parents can rest assured that their children are in safe hands all day, every day, at YCIS Qingdao.

Students are welcomed to bring their lunch or purchase the delicious, balanced, and healthy lunch provided by the school. One of YCIS’ primary concerns is the healthy development and balanced eating habits of our students. The canteen prepares daily meals for our students with food and ingredients ordered from well-recognised food suppliers with certifications. Along with freshness, the School Canteen ensures our students receive the needed nutrition in their meals. Similarly, the canteen adopts world-class brands in cleaning and sterilisation as well, with respect not only for students’ health but also for the environment.

For our students needing transportation to and from school, we provide an extensive bus service throughout Qingdao for children aged three and above.

Our school uniform is a distinguishing feature of YCIS Qingdao. We believe that wearing a school uniform helps unite children, develop their self-confidence, and build a sense of school pride. Therefore, all students in Years Kindergarten 2 (K2) and above must wear the approved school uniform daily. Uniforms can be ordered via our online uniform platform here.
