School uniforms have always been a great tradition here at YCIS. In the classroom, school uniform can improve learning by reducing distraction, sharpening the focus on school work and making the classroom a more focus environment, allowing students to perform better academically. We also believe students will improve a better sense of team spirit, enhance their confidence and have a better understanding of school honour by wearing uniforms.

In the time of the 85th anniversary, Dr Betty Chan Po-King, the CEO of Yew Chung International Schools and supervisor of YCIS Qingdao invited our fashion designer alumna Christine Field-Hall to craft the all-new, unified, streamlined, inclusive, classic-timeless-flattering, history-legacy-honouring school uniforms in Hong Kong. The new uniforms will make all Yew Chung kids comfortable with all activities. The new design also kept the thick and thin red line from the key uniform，85th years of tradition is passed on through new innovation and creativity.
