Every day we witness the exciting growth of YCCECE students as they advance along the pathway of becoming Yew Chung Educators. We are deeply grateful to be celebrating the first two staff donations the College has received, which contribute toward a sustainable future of high-quality Early Childhood Education.
Heartfelt thanks to Joyce Chen, our Chief Technology Officer, for her generous gift in creating a scholarship for students who pursue degree studies in Special Education. Joyce’s passion for the work of YCCECE and YCEF, and her commitment to developing future Yew Chung Educators is an inspiration for our entire community. Joyce has always modelled the best of Yew Chung and worked with unwavering determination to do what is best for our students. We are tremendously grateful for her support.
Rosemary Claire Kelly, our recently retired Regional Head of University Counselling, has also made a generous gift to YCEF, which has been channeled to YCCECE. Rosemary, a long-time staff member, has always believed in the vision and mission of YCEF, and contributed immensely to the development of our University Guidance services across our YCIS and YWIES schools, as well as YCCC, helping all students realize their potential and dreams. We are most grateful to Rosemary for her thoughtful contribution, and wish her a wonderful retirement life back in the States!
Thanks to the HKSAR Government’s 7th Matching Scheme, gifts made to YCCECE from now until July 31st, 2019 will be doubled! Together with the help of our generous staff, alumni, parents and friends, we are nurturing a new generation of Yew Chung Educators who will transform the profession and impact countless young lives in the years to come.
