On Friday, February 10, parents of ECE, Primary, and Secondary students gathered in the Qingdao International Community Centre (QICC) for a Parent Workshop on Promoting Positive Behaviour in Children. The workshop was led by Ms Courtney Leedy and focused on positive reinforcement parenting.

Parents were able to learn skills about managing behaviour and ways to praise and encourage positive behaviour in their children.

We hope that these parenting workshops provide useful information for parents to help their children be the best they can be!

Following the workshop was a Parent Coffee Session with our Co-principals. School development and parent concerns and suggestions were discussed.

Our Parent Coffee Sessions are held once a month – one in Huangdao and one in Qingdao. We encourage parents to attend and gain more information about what is happening at YCIS Qingdao!
