The heat of late summer has not yet dissipated, while the coolness of early autumn has already arrived. Last weekend, YCIS Qingdao welcomed the long-awaited campus event—Community Day.

Sports are always a popular theme. In addition to traditional ball games like basketball, football, and volleyball, Community Day also featured more fun activities such as bean bag toss, stilt walking, golf, and pickleball.

Everywhere on campus, you could see students running around and hear the joyful laughter of parents. The diverse and colourful sports activities immersed community members in an experience full of fun and joy.

YCIS families from all over the world, with their different cultural backgrounds and experiences, came together. On Community Day, everyone felt the sports spirit, enjoyed the camaraderie of working together, and contributed to the collision and integration of diverse cultures within the school community.

Community Day was not just a moment of gathering but also a platform to enhance community friendship and cohesion. We hope to create an opportunity that will allow every school community member to feel warmth and strength and help students grow into global citizens who care about their community and embrace diversity.
